The Karmachroma film recipe was the 100th added to the Film Recipes site, and I was so excited to see all the photos contributed as part of our late September challenge. There’s a bumper crop this time around, so scroll down to see the photos.

Karmachroma by David Axel

A new contributor from Africa, David used Karmachroma to capture some wonderful candid scenes and portraits around Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. I can’t wait to see more images from David and this fascinating region.

Karmachroma by Mehdi Berrada

Mehdi is a regular contributor to our Facebook group and in our challenges. He’s also a master of light and shade, and these images are another great example of how to expose for effect.

Medhi has a guest recipe available. Check out the amazing Yakisugi recipe for an inspiring Classic Chrome look to try out this style.

Karmachroma by Ana Flavia Feliciano

One of the great things about user images is a chance to see the creative styles of talented photographers from all around the world. These images by Ana Flavia Feliciano, taken in Sydney, Australia are on the theme of ‘legs’.

Karmachroma by David Roberts

David is another new contributor and shared a selection of candid street snaps. Amongst them were three snaps of older men which I enjoyed as a little series.

Karmachroma by Mid Suarez

A sunny morning photowalk is a perfect time to try out a film recipe, and that’s exacly what Mid Suarez has done here. I love the long shadows you get in siutations like this.

Karmachroma by TheCameraEatsFirst

Next up, we have a fabulous selection of Autumn images from another regular contributor, TheCameraEatsFirst. Their images are found in the comments section of many recent recipes and they also join in with each challenge, sending wonderfully calm and natural scenes. It’s relaxing just looking at them.

Karmachroma by Marcel Fraij

To finish up the Karmachroma challenge gallery, we have a selection of shots by Marcel Fraij. Readers will know Marcel well by now I’m sure. Not only does he share plenty of images in our Film Recipes Facebook Group with his own recipes, but he’s also a regular feature in these galleries.

If you haven’t yet seen it, Marcel also has a guest recipe October Gold that’s just right for the Autumn season and those little details in the forest.

Thank you to all the photographers who joined in the Karmachroma challenge in September! This challenge in particular has seen a truly beautiful selection of photographs, and it’s so inspiring to see so many images from all around the world.

If you missed this challenge, don’t worry. Join us in the Film Recipes Facebook Group where the latest challenge will be running.
