Waldorf Astia Challenge Gallery

This round of the Film Recipes challenge featured the film recipe Waldorf Astia, with photogrphaers invited to share images that they’d taken with the recipe.

In an additional twist, I had inadvertently mixed up the recipe details in one of my announcement posts, so some snappers picked up an alternate version, which I spun off to become Waldorf Warm.

So, to keep things fair, people posting with either recipe are included here. The standard Waldorf Astia film recipe with a New American style, and the warmer Waldorf Warm, still with Astia, but a different look.

Waldorf Astia by Giang Le

I start this round up with the welcome return of Giang Le to the gallery pages. You might recognise the name from the popular adaptated recipe Yakisugi Green. We’re back in cafe society again in this selection too.

Waldorf Astia by Kevin Tran

Fun colours can be found in all sorts of places, and as Kevin shows us, the park is a great place for just this sort of thing. I love the mix of shapes and colour in this set.

Waldorf Astia by Gordon Ovenshine

Spring is on it’s way in Phliadelphia, and this series captures a spring-like mood with the Waldorf Astia recipe.

Waldorf Astia by M Mohanram

Street scenes are always a fascinating window on our world, and I love the glimpse we get in this selection.

Waldorf Astia by Sam McFie

Sam’s selection for this challenge includes some lovely images captured at golden hour and into the dusk.

Waldorf Astia by David Forsdike

David was on a roll for this challenge and submitted a bumper selection of images. A good number are shown here, and the full sets can be seen in the Film Recipes Facebook Group.

Waldorf Astia by Darren Urda

Darren always shares such sunny images of his part of Australia, with trees and plants I’m not used to seeing, and compelling spots on the water. Here are a selection of his sumbissions with the Waldorf recipe.

Waldorf Astia by Emlyn H Jones

The pink flowers in Darren’s selection lead us nicely into this floral set by Emlyn. There’s so much colour here and some cool vintage film effects.

Waldorf Astia by Mon Solo

Mono Solo was a second photographer to try the Waldorf Astia recipe after sundown, and show the colours in the half light of dusk.

Waldorf Astia by Adrian Martinez

Let’s take a city walk with Waldorf Astia. It’s a bright sunny day and Adrian is here to be our guide.

Waldorf Astia by Tony Saunders

It’s always worth the wait for Tony’s images, with stunning scenery a big part of his selections. Here’s a wonderful set to finish up our gallery this time around.

So that’s it for another wonderf tour of our Fujifilm recipes world, through the eyes of photographers just like you. They all used our feature film recipe to share their images, and you could do the same in our currently challenge. Why not join in? The details are below.
