Kodachrome 60s by Gordon Ovenshine

Gordon captured some classic Americana with the recipe, and I think it suits the colour tones really well. I particularly like the faded USA flag wall art in this look.

Kodachrome 60’s by Mid Suarez

Summertime is holiday time for many, and this is a great recipe for trips and travels. This selection definitely has a summer holiday look. It even includes one of those chess boards that seem to appear in hotel gardens in many countries!

Kodachrome 60’s by Mohd Nor Azmil

For people who don’t live there, everyday scenes from faraway lands hold a special interest. So much in a photo can draw the eye as we see how familiar things can appear so different.

Kodachrome 60’s by Piergj Piergj

If you’ve read any of my film recipe pages, you’ll know how I enjoy scenes from the countryside, and seasonal events such as the wheat harvest. Here’s a great selection capturing this season, using our recipe with light underexposure.

Kodachrome 60s by Emlyn H Jones

You don’t have to travel far to capture interesting images. Emlyn shos us this with a wander around his garden capturing family, pets and green scenes.

Kodachrome 60’s by Simon Whitehouse

Simon shared a number of selections with us for the Film Recipes Challenge, including a castle with rather fine views. But my favourite is the steam locomotive hissing steam for a moody capture.

Kodachrome 60’s by RJ Esguerra

In this selection, RJ Esguerra captures the feel of the Kodachrome look with a series of images from on and around the water.

Kodachrome 60’s by Beared Drone Guy

From another coastal location, Key West, we see a fine selection of views and street scenes that capture the vibe of this popular vacation spot.

Kodachrome 60’s by David Forsdike

Each time we run a user gallery, David supplies us with a set of great images that chronicle life in the small towns of Southern France. It’s markey day once again, and we can peek through a virtual window into daily life.

Kodachrome 60s by Sabrina Magnusson

To finish up our gallery of reader photos, we have a selection captured with an adaptation of the Kodachrome 60s recipe. Sabrina took these on the compact X70 camera, adjusting the settings to match the look as closely as possible with this model of camera.

Thanks as always go out to our photographer friends who used the Kodachrome 60s film recipe and shared their images with us.
