Classic Gold Film Recipe User Gallery

In July, 2022, the first Film Recipes Challenge was running and everyone was invited to try out the Classic Gold film recipe, and share their photos on our Facebook Group or in the comments section with links to image sites.

It was wonderful to see the different images that people captured, either with the recipe as is, or by making small adjustments to suit their style and cameras. Thank you to everyone that joined in! Here’s a selection of the great photos taken by readers with Classic Gold.

If you missed this challenge, don’t worry. Join us in the Film Recipes Facebook Group where the latest challenge will be running.

🌊 Let’s get creative in this new round of The Film Recipes Challenge 🏄 The recipe is the burned and faded look, Childhood Vacation, which loves to be over exposed. Try some images and share a selection in the Film Recipes Facebook Group or the comments on the recipe page. Open to everyone, until end of 8th June. Tag #childhoodvacation ☀️

It’s nice to see this challenge and the outcomes. It’s a pitty that I can’t join – I have no Facebook.. By the way: there are a lot of Portra recipes. Created by several people and I was working on a Porta recipe for myself: NEW PORTRA. Surprise: it looks a lot like this recipe.
Because I mostly shoot with a x100v, there are only whole numbers and no halves.

    Hereby ‘my’ New Portra:
    Dynamic Range: DR200
 Highlight: +1
 Shadow: -1
 Color: +1.
Noise Reduction: -4
 Sharpening: +1.
Clarity: +5.
Grain Effect: weak large
Color Chrome Effect: Strong.
Color Chrome Effect Blue: Weak
White Balance: daylight, +1 Red & -4 Blue
ISO: Auto, up to ISO 1600
 Exposure Compensation: overcompensation

Keep up the good work Justin! Really appreciate what you are doing for the Fuji-recipe-community!
