Film recipes using the Provia / Standard film simulation
Provia — labelled Standard on most camera bodies — is the default film simulation and the one every Fujifilm photographer starts with. It’s a clean, balanced profile with natural colour and moderate contrast that suits almost any subject and shooting condition. Because it’s so neutral, it’s an excellent base for recipes that want to build a specific character from a clean starting point.
Recipes on Provia tend to be more measured than those on Velvia or Classic Chrome — the neutral base rewards careful tuning rather than bold adjustments. Several of the most natural-looking and everyday-usable recipes in the library are built on this simulation.
